This elegant ketubah is decorated with buds and blossoms, harbingers of springtime, as well as butterflies and hearts, which represent love and marital bliss. The classic round design is symbolic of the love that exists between the new couple; as a circle symbolizes continuity, having no beginning or end, the new couple's love is forever. Written around the border are sayings from Songs of Songs and excerpts from the seven blessings recited under the chuppah. This ketubah is not only a stunningly adorned marriage contract, but a meaningful and special piece of art to treasure 'forever'.
The text of the original ketubah was hand calligraphed, continuing in the tradition of illuminated manuscripts, and the paper is archival and acid free.
